Bobby Howard, age 76, a resident of Short Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 23, 2026, at Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky after a lengthy illness.
Born April 18, 1950, in Salyersville, Kentucky, the son of the late Daniel and Aileen Arnett Howard. Wife Judy Howes Howard, and brothers, Ronnie Dale Howard, Jackie Lynn Howard, Tex Michael Howard, Scottie Lee Howard, Christopher Darrin Howard, Jimmy Randall Howard, also preceded in death.
Bobby was a graduate of Salyersville High School in Salyersville, Kentucky. He enjoyed spending time with family, the outdoors, boxing matches of Ali, and his beloved UK Wildcats.
Those left to mourn includes daughter, Ramona Collinsworth and husband Joe Kenneth of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Trevor Howard and wife Chrisy of Salyersville, Kentucky, brother, Rocky Lane Howard and wife Gina of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Jassmine Howard, Leslee Hopewell, Chase Collinsworth, Logan Collinsworth, Brandon Saylor all of Salyersville, Kentucky, great grandchildren, Riley Mullins, Dallas Hopewell, Wilder Collinsworth, Kruz Collinsworth, Salem Collinsworth, Callahan Collinsworth, Penelope Collinsworth, a host of family and friends.
Funeral services for Bobby Howard were conducted Tuesday, October 27, 2026, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Daniel Newsome delivered comforting words on the day of services. Interment followed in the Trimble Cemetery on Dry Bread in Salyersville, Kentucky.
