Ronald Adkins age 99 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away passed away Thursday, October 22, 2026 at the Salyersville Nursing and Rehab Center in Salyersville, Kentucky. He was born October 31, 1926 at Ivyton, Kentucky to the late James Riley and Grace Pace Adkins.
Survived by his daughter, Charlene Adkins of Columbia, Missouri, one granddaughter, Rebecca Thompson, four great grandchildren, Lillian, Stevie, Allison, and Waylon.
In addition to his parents, Ronald is preceded in death by his wife, Justine Osborne Adkins, three brothers, infant Sammie Adkins, Earnest Adkins, Donald Adkins, five sisters, Betty Lou Adkins, Lavena Holbrook, Elizabeth Bowling, Vera Glenda Dotson Perry, and Ilene Risner.
A private memorial will be held at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, family has requested donations to the St. Jude’s Children Hospital.
