Mortimer Media Group, the parent company of the Salyersville Independent, is offering a $2,500 cash reward for anyone who can supply video with supported audio proof showing someone buying someone else’s vote.
The video with audio can be from a phone or other recording devices. If anyone needs some sort of discreet recording device, we can also supply that.
Anyone who comes forward can remain anonymous in the news (Salyersville Independent and Your News Today) if he/she chooses, but the evidence will be forwarded to the Kentucky Attorney General’s office.
Important to note, of the numerous election fraud cases Magoffin has had in the past, no person who has sold their vote in Magoffin County has ever been prosecuted.
Anyone interested can either walk into the Salyersville Independent office at 15 East Maple Street, in downtown Salyersville, call our office at 606-349-2915, or private email the owner/publisher, Ritt Mortimer, at yournewstoday@yahoo.com.
