SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County seniors Allie Rodriguez and Avery Preston each reached a milestone during a win over Menifee County on Friday, Oct. 11.
Rodriguez recorded the 500th dig of her high school volleyball career.
In another strong performance for Magoffin County, Preston delivered her 500th assist as a high school volleyball player.
Magoffin County shut out Menifee County 3-0. The Lady Hornets won 25-15, 25-17, 25-12.
Rodriguez and Preston helped Magoffin County end the regular season on a three-match winning streak. Magoffin County’s current winning streak includes wins over Menifee County, Jackson City and Morgan County. The Lady Hornets showed improvement during the regular season. Magoffin County exited the regular season 7-14.
