Talmadge Mann, age 85, a resident of Lick Creek Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Friday, October 16, 2026, at the Salyersville Health Care Center in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Born January 1, 1941 in Salyersville, Kentucky the son of the late Cleo and Attie Mae Gamble Mann. Wife, Janet Gail Helton Mann, sisters, Edna Blanton, Faye Issac, and brothers, Jimmy Mann, Ponny Mann, also preceded in death.
Mr. Mann was employed as a farmer and a grocery store owner, located on Lick Creek Road. He is also the former Pastor of Bloomington United Baptist Church located on Lick Creek Road in Salyersville, Kentucky. He loved a good sporting event, spending time outdoors, his daily devotionals, and among all, spending time with his family and friends.
Those left to mourn includes son, Dr. Randall Mann and wife Amanda of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Judy Howard of Nashville, Tennessee, Laney Johnson of Winchester, Kentucky, brother, Louis Mann of Salyersville, Kentucky, grandchildren, Danielle Wages and husband Justin of Salyersville, Kentucky, Alyssa Thacker and husband Tyler of Salyersville, Kentucky, great grandchildren, Gavin Holbrook and Braelynn Daniels of Salyersville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
Funeral services for Talmadge Mann were conducted Monday, October 19, 2026 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Paul Brown and Frankie Howard delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Oney Howard Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky.
