Anne Breckenridge (Thompson) Taylor

Updated for Celebration of Life, scheduled for next weekend.

Anne Breckenridge (Thompson) Taylor, 63, died of natural causes on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, at her home in Clark County, KY. Anne was born in Lexington, KY, and was a 1977 graduate of Henry Clay High School. During her lifetime, Anne worked in a number of settings that reflected her lifelong love of animals, including as a veterinary technician and an equine industry professional. Her dedication to serving others led her to a career as a registered nurse for more than 30 years in a variety of positions in the Lexington area, including Cardinal Hill Hospital and Central Baptist Hospital. She also served as a certified legal nurse consultant and on the board of directors of the Salyersville National Bank.

Anne is survived by her mother Charlotte Thompson, her son Morgan Taylor, and granddaughter Kayla Taylor of Lexington; her sister Laura Thompson and partner Francis Daly of County Laois, Ireland; her sister Maren Thompson (Justin) Bzdek of Fort Collins, CO, and their son Joey Bzdek of Boulder, CO. Preceding her in death was her father, Thomas A. Thompson, and stepfather Robert H. Salyer.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to Lexington Humane Society.

The family invites all who knew “Annie B.” to join them in celebration of her life 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 10, at the Renaissance Center in Salyersville. Friends and family are welcome to join us. Interment will follow at the Bluegrass Cemetery.
