The North Magoffin Elementary Archery Team recently placed third in the Wolfe County Silvermine Shootout. The two-day event, held at Wolfe County Middle School in Campton, was December 2-3, 2022. Competing against seven other elementary school teams, the first-season archers are coached by Dusty and Kathy Brown.
The Silvermine Shootout was the team’s third tournament this season. The NME team placed third at the Shelby Valley Fall Warmup last month, while placing second at Magoffin County Outdoor Extravaganza in October.
