SALYERSVILLE – The Magoffin County Health Department will be holding free Narcan training at the Save-A-Life Road Show and Health Fair on Monday, September 11.
The Save-A-Life Road Show will provide free Narcan training, distribution, and education to identify an opioid overdose and administer the life-saving drug Narcan.
Also available at the event will be: free HIV and HCV testing with $20 gift cards available to those who qualify, fentanyl test strips, peer support, treatment and recovery information and referrals, community partner booths with giveaways, free blood pressure and hemoglobin A1C readings.
The health department invites everyone to come learn how to save a life at the Magoffin County Health Department on September 11 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. For more information about the event, call 606-349-6212. The Magoffin County Health Department is located at 119 E. Mountain Parkway, Salyersville, KY 41465. Free hotdogs will also be provided at the event.
