Billy Joe Johnson age 56 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 8, 2025 at his home. He was born July 25, 1969 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to Donna Shepherd Johnson and the late Jimmy Johnson.
Survived by three daughters, LaKayla (Alex) Howard, Tiffani (Dustin) Minix, Catie (Dillon) Carty all of Salyersville, Kentucky, four brothers, Jimmy Johnson of Salyersville, Kentucky, Jessie Johnson of Lexington, Kentucky, Jerry (Tammy) Johnson, Joseph Johnson both of Salyersville, Kentucky, five sisters, Myrtle (John) Wireman, Cindy (Ez) Wireman, Sue (Roger) Wireman, Donna Johnson, Pechie (Russell) Parsons all of Salyersville, Kentucky, seven grandchildren, Karsyn, Brody, Brooks, Lincoln, Walker, Connor, and Hallee.
In addition to his father, Billy Joe is preceded in death by one sister, Sally Quesenbery.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, September 11, 2025 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Demmie Marshall officiating. Burial will follow in the Johnson Family Cemetery at Gunlock, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home any time prior to funeral services.
In lieu of flowers, family has request that contributions made to the memorial fund at the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
