Calvin Lyon age 87 of Hensley Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, February 13, 2023 at his home. He was born August 07, 1935 in Maggard, Kentucky to the late Edgar and Lena May Lyon.
Survived by his wife, Ina Nell Helton Lyon, three daughters, Linda (Rick) Jones of West Liberty, Kentucky, Judy (Jeff) Penix of West Liberty, Kentucky, Karen (Tim) Collins of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother, Sherman Lyon of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Peggy (Louie) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Amy (Cooter) Stacy, Amanda (Daniel) Ferguson, Abby Collins, Tyler Collins, three great grandchildren, Braden Stacy, Braxton Stacy, and Addy Ferguson.
In addition to his parents, Calvin of preceded in death by one infant daughter, Vanessa Lyon, one brother, Louis A. Lyon, and grandson, Wesley Penix.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, February 16, 2023 at the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with John Blanton and C.J. Tackett officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyon Cemetery at Coon Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home any time prior to funeral services.
