Carolyn Bailey, age 72, a resident of Mill Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Tuesday, February 28, 2023 in West Liberty, Kentucky.
Carolyn was born in Paintsville, Kentucky. The daughter of the late Frank and Hazel Henry Prater. Husband, Larry Bailey, brother, James Prater, and sisters, Jolene Prater Conley, Shelvea Jean “Tom” Prater also preceded in death
Carolyn was a homemaker and devoted member to her family.
Those left to mourn includes daughters, Cathy Bailey of Salyersville, Kentucky, Kristy McCarty and husband Brian of Salyersville, Kentucky, Kellie Shepherd and husband Brian of Salyersville, Kentucky, six grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Carolyn Bailey were conducted Saturday, March 4, 2023 from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Greg Minix delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Earl Bailey Family Cemetery on Mill Branch in Salyersville, Kentucky.
