Debra Howard, age 68, a resident of Salyersville, Kentucky; passed away Sunday, April 11, 2021 at the UK Medical Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Debra was born November 4, 1952 in Michigan City, Indiana the daughter of Lawrence and Edna Jewel Knotts Wilke. Husband, Smith Howard, brothers, Lawrence Wilke Jr., Gary Wilke, and sisters, Joyce Braun, Darlene Wilke also preceded her in death.
Debra was a devoted mother, friend, and Nanny to so many. She loved seeing smiles and being there for others. Those left to mourn include son, Ronnie Lee Caldwell of Salyersville, Kentucky, brother, Dwight Wilke of Richmond, Kentucky, Earnesteen Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Addonia Baugh of North Judson, Indiana, Colleen Rootes of Hamlet, Indiana, Michelle Prater of Staffordsville, Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Debra Howard were conducted Thursday, April 15, 2021 at 11:00 AM from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky. Interment followed in the Prater Cemetery on Short Fork in Salyersville, Kentucky.
