Debra Kay Keeton, age 71, a resident of Kentucky Street in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, June 20, 2026, peacefully at the Salyersville Nursing Home in Salyersville, Kentucky with family.
Born June 18, 1955, at the Paintsville Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky the daughter of the late William Cochran and Ennie and Ruth LeMaster Cochran Blanton. Sister, Patsy Swisher also preceded in death.
Debra was a graduate of Mayo Technical College in Paintsville, Kentucky with an Associates Degree in Medical Records. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She dedicated her life to her family and their wellbeing.
Those left to mourn includes husband, Ray Keeton of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Casey Keeton and wife Denetra of Maysville, Kentucky, granddaughter, Brie Keeton of Maysville, Kentucky, sisters, Kathy Cottle of Winston-Salam, North Carolina, Ginger Williams of Paintsville, Kentucky, brother, John Cochran of Cincinnati, Ohio, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Debra Keeton were conducted Wednesday, June 24, 2026, from the chapel of the Salyersville Funeral Home. Clergy Wayne Meade delivered comforting words on the day of service. Interment followed in the Highlands Memorial Park in Staffordsville, Kentucky.
