Donna Kern, age 85, a resident of Licking River Road in Gunlock, Kentucky; passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at Paintsville ARH Hospital in Paintsville, Kentucky.
Donna was born May 5, 1937 in Michigan, the daughter of the late Homer McLeod and Mabel Dorland. Husband, James Kern, whom she married on July 23, 1960, son, John Kern, daughter, Dawn Slone, brothers, Homer McLeod, Bernard McLeod, Mac McLeod, sister, Bernie Vanderlan, grandson, Jamie Kern also preceded her in death.
Those left to mourn includes son, James Kern and wife Vonda of Gunlock, Kentucky, daughter, Cindy Southwood and husband Jimmie of Hazard, Kentucky, brother, Jack McLeod of Lake City, Michigan, sister, Betty Wagner of Merritt, Michigan, three grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren, a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
The family of Donna Kern welcomed friends Thursday, November 17.
