Flora Gipson Tadlock, age 76 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, July 04, 2021, at the Greg and Noreen Wells Hospice Center in Hazard, Kentucky.

Flora was born on April 2, 1945, in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late William Taylor and Nannie Fletcher Gipson.

Preceded in death by her parents, four brothers, Green Gipson, Dud Gipson, Hubert Gipson, Gary Gipson, two sisters, Martha Gipson, Mary Fletcher, one daughter, Rosa Miller, Father of her children, Frank Perkins, and great granddaughter Rosa Lynn Perkins.

Survived by her children, Lee Franklin (Debra) Perkins of Michigan, Donna Stephens of Florida, Debora Sue (Ray) Williams of Florida, William (Alisha) Perkins of Kentucky, and Freddie (Kimberly) Perkins of Kentucky. Flora raised Janet (Joe) Brown of Ohio, Cathy (Jr) Rose of Kentucky, little Gary (Sabrina) Gipson of Kentucky, her lifelong partner Timmy Dale, twenty-two grandchildren, Jamie (Jose) Zugnia, Matthew (Misty) Fudge, John (Amber) Fudge, Starla Perkins, Ashley (Brian) Mills, LeAnn Perkins, Dalton (Megan) Perkins, Lee Perkins, Jr., Austin (Rachel) Perkins, John Hayes, Barry Hayes, Jennifer (Rodney) Fletcher, Christopher (Luz) Stephens, Shadow (Hilly) Stephens, Christina (Christopher) Guffey, Fredrick (Melissa) Crawford, III, Amanda (Tim) Pence, Brittany (Bryan) Perkins-Williams, Brandon Perkins, Jeremy Perkins, Dallas Perkins, Noah Perkins, forty-four great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, with a host of nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Flora loved her children and her grandchildren some of which she raised as if her they were her own children, Lee (Stephania) Perkins, Jr, Cameron, Destiny, and Jacob Bebee. Her passion was spending time with her family and cooking homemade biscuits and gravy from scratch, she took pride in baking cakes for everyone’s birthday, best biscuits maker ever. She was a great friend, loving and protecting mother, and wife. She loved watching Days of Our Lives and cartoons.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, July 08, 2021, from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Cherokee Gipson and Phillip Puckett officiating. Family and friends may visit the funeral home any time prior to the funeral service on Thursday.

Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
