Gregory Lyn Perkins age 65 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Monday, September 7, 2026 at Mash Fork, Kentucky. He was born October 06, 1960 in Prestonsburg, Kentucky to the late Warrick and Pauline Prater Perkins.
Survived by his wife, Deloris Perkins, six sons, Benjamin Allen (Ashley) Perkins of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Ryan Gregory Neil (Rain) Perkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brent Thomas (Nick) Perkins of Paintsville, Kentucky, Nathan Alexander Perkins and Brianna Thomson of Salyersville, Kentucky, Cory Ryan Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brandon Lee Arnett of Berea, Kentucky, three daughters, Ashley Lynn (Jackie) Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Whitney Michelle (Shannon) Blanton of Salyersville, Kentucky, Brittany Nichole (Misty) Perkins of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, two brothers, William Paul Perkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, Billy Perkins of Urbana, Ohio, one sister, Rebecca Kelly of Middletown, Ohio, twenty grandchildren, Abagail, Tanner, Anthony, Derek, Kason, Jaxon, Jacklyn, Madison, Alexis, Scarlett, Paisley, Braxton, Riley, Andrew, Kadence, Chelsey, Jayden, Braxton, Aubrey, Raelynn, his first great-grand, Leilani, dear friends, Rick and Anna Caldwell, his special pet, Chip, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, Gregory is preceded in death by one son, Anthony Wayne Perkins, five brothers, Burlie Perkins, Thomas Perkins, George Perkins, Carl D. Perkins, Steven Allen Perkins, four sisters, Norma Jean Perkins, Mildred Conley, Ruby Smith, Janet Faye Adkins, son-in-law, Brandon Adams, special pet, Radar.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, September 12, 2026 from the New Life Worship Center with Pastor William Paul Perkins and Isaac Perkins officiating. Burial will follow in the Perkins Cemetery at Rockhouse, Kentucky. Friends may visit the church Thursday September 10, 2026 after 6:00 P.M. on Friday, September 11, 2026 after 10 A.M. and any time prior to funeral services on Saturday.
