Harold Joseph age 85 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, September 4, 2026 at the Hazard ARH, Hazard, Kentucky. He was born September 17, 1940 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Granville “G.V.” and Ethel Mullins Joseph.
Survivors include his wife; Connie Brockley Joseph, one son; Timothy Neal (Sheila Marie) Joseph, one daughter; Kimberly Lynn (Anthony Gil) Howard, two brothers; Granville Jr. Joseph and Phillip Joseph, four sisters; Faye Stacy, Peggy Howard, Patricia Blevins and Brenda Minix, three grandchildren; Farley Neal (Kimberly) Joseph, Anthony Blake (Lindsey) Howard and Noah Braxton Howard and four great grandchildren; Riverlynd Marie Joseph, Heidi Klaire Joseph, Zeb Shepherd Joseph and Lainey Blayke Howard.
In addition to Harold’s parents he is preceded in death by one daughter; Jessica Ann Joseph, two brothers; Kendall Joseph and Charles Joseph and four sisters; Mable Ledford, Emma Jean Adams, Wilma Dotson and Genevieve Joseph.
Harold served his country with the United States Army and was a retired Sawmill Owner/Operator for several years. He also attended the First Community Baptist Church.
Funeral services for Harold Joseph were conducted Wednesday, September 9, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel, with Floyd Arnett officiating. Burial followed in the Joseph Family Cemetery, Mason, Kentucky.
Military rites were given by the Salyersville DAV Chapter 15 the day of the funeral service.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
