Helen Joyce Spencer Pennington age 83 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at the Highlands Regional Medical Center, Prestonsburg, Kentucky. She was born May 02, 1943 in Willshire, Ohio to the late John and Nellie Marie Hole Spencer.
Survived by two sons, Brian Keith (Tiffany) Pennington of Salyersville, Kentucky, James D. Parmeter of Logansport, Indiana, two daughters, Jane Parmeter Singh of Salyersville, Kentucky, Anita Pupo of Sarasota, Florida, two brothers, Johnny (Chris) Spencer, Roger (Sandy) Spencer both of Logansport, Indiana, one sister, Jean Gioscio of Logansport, Indiana, twelve grandchildren, nineteen great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition, to her parents, Helen is preceded in death by her husband, Tommy Pennington, one grandson, Wesley Conley, and three brothers and one sister.
Helen was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family, she also enjoyed, NASCAR, quilting, puzzles, playing the harmonica, she was a member of the Kiwanis Club, and loved to volunteer at the Saint Luke’s Catholic Church Opportunity store.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
