SALYERSVILLE – The Magoffin County archery team hosted its first tournament in the 2021-22 season on Saturday, Nov. 6, recording a second-place team finish.
The Magoffin County Outdoor Fall Extravaganza Bullseye & 3D Tournament, held at the Old Magoffin County High School Football Field, featured over 500 archers shooting bullseye and 3D. The event served as a state qualifying tournament.
Host Magoffin County posted multiple second place performances during the tournament, including a runner-up finish in the 3-D High School division.
Magoffin County archers from the high school and middle school levels excelled during the outdoor tournament.
