Jonda Lee “Betty” Salyer Trusty age 80 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, November 26, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center in Pikeville, Kentucky. She was born December 07,1942 in Paintsville, Kentucky to the late Robert and Eliza Poe Salyer.
Survivors include two sons, Charles David (Denise) Trusty of Salyersville, Kentucky, James Lynn (Caroline) Trusty of Salyersville, Kentucky, two daughters, Kim (Rick) Conley of Sparta, Kentucky, Dedra “Dee Dee” Lewis of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Joe Darrell Salyer of Salyersville, Kentucky and Boyd Salyer, two sisters, Sue Bailey Gambill of West Liberty, Kentucky, Patty Burkes of Salyersville, Kentucky, eight grandchildren, Chase Lewis, Kaylee Lewis Connelley, Andrea Williamson, Noah Conley, Royce Trusty, Rachel Trusty, Allie Trusty, Michael Trusty, two great grandchildren, Grady Williamson, and Kentrell Olvera.
In addition to her parents, Betty is preceded in death by her husband, Charles Trusty, one son-in-law, Luke Lewis, two sisters, Marie Gamble, and Roberta Trusty.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Thursday, November 30, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Rick Conley officiating. Burial will follow in Tackett Cemetery, Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, November 30, 2023 after 11:00 A.M. till funeral services.
