Juanita “Maxine” Layne Gullett age 82 of Brushy Fork Road, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 17, 2023 at her home. She was born June 16, 1941 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Earl and Zora Phipps Layne.
Survived by one daughter, Regina (Darrel) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, one grandson, John Earl Wade (Katlyn) Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, and a special first cousin, Anita Caudill of Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to her parents, Maxine is preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Gullett.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, September 20, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with John Howard, Jonathan Rigsby, Jerry Howard, and Daniel Ison officiating. Burial followed in the Cooper Cemetery at Brushy Fork, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Tuesday,
