Lena Howard Rogerson age 92 of Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Saturday, July 18, 2026 at the Paintsville ARH, Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born June 28, 1934 in Oil Springs, Kentucky to the late Andrew and Rosa Hunley Howard.
Survived by one son, Ricky Conley of Columbus, Ohio, two daughters, Patricia McGavic, Lydia Rose Butler, both of Bradenton, Florida, two sisters, Brenda Howard, Opal Powers both of Salyersville, Kentucky, thirteen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, and three great-great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Lena is preceded in death by her husband, Earle Rogerson, three sons, Robert Conley, Michael Conley, Jeffery Conley, eight brothers, Eddie Howard, Orville Howard, Harold Howard, Benjamin Howard, Andrew Howard, Jr., Roger Howard, Homer Howard, James Howard, two sisters, Margaret Padgett, and Loretta Keaton.
Funeral services for Lena, will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, July 25, 2026 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Hale Cemetery at Borders Road, in Salyersville, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Friday, July 24, 2026 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
