SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County High School graduate Lucas Litteral has been added to the Henderson Flash’s roster for the remainder of the 2023 Ohio Valley League season.
The Ohio Valley League is a summer collegiate baseball league.
Committed to Western Kentucky University, Litteral excelled for Rend Lake College as a freshman. After an outstanding freshman season, Litteral was named Honorable Mention All-American.
Thriving as a freshman, Litteral was tabbed the NJCAA Region 24 Pitcher of the Year.
Litteral excelled throughout his freshman season. Leading Rend Lake on the mound, Litteral compiled an 8-3 record and a 2.91 ERA. Litteral made 13 starts and pitched 80.1 innings for the Warriors.
The Ohio Valley League uses National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) rules and guidelines except for the use of wooden bats. The Ohio Valley League is divided into two divisions — North and South. The North Division consists of Henderson, Dubois County, Louisville, Madisonville and Muhlenberg County. The South Division consists of Full Count, Hoptown, Fulton, Paducah, Bowling Green and Clarksville.
