SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County standout Lucas Litteral has earned an All-Area honor following his final high school season on the diamond.
A leader for the Magoffin County baseball program, Litteral was named to the Mountain Top Sports All-Area First Team.
Litteral paced Magoffin County on the mound during the 2022 high school baseball season, compiling an 0.86 ERA while recording 120 strikeouts. The experienced Magoffin County pitcher allowed only 19 hits and 21 runs. Litteral, who has signed with Rend Lake College, amassed a 4-4 record while claiming one save.
Offensively, Litteral batted .333, second-best for the Hornets. Litteral collected 21 hits and a team-high 14 RBIs.
Litteral inked with the Rend Lake College baseball program during a ceremony held on Wednesday, May 11.
In addition to baseball, Litteral excelled in football for the Hornets throughout his high school career.
