Litteral pitches in two of WKU’s first four games

BOWLING GREEN — Sophomore left-handed pitcher Lucas Litteral has appeared in two of Western Kentucky University’s first four games in the 2024 college baseball season.

A Magoffin County High School graduate, Litteral played one season at Rend Lake College before transferring to Western Kentucky University. Litteral started in all of his 13 appearances on the mound for Rend Lake College. The Magoffin County High School graduate put together an 8-3 record with three complete games. Litteral compiled a 2.91 ERA in 80.1 innings pitched. He recorded 102 strikeouts while only allowing 31 walks and 25 earned runs.

Litteral excelled throughout his prep career at Magoffin County High School. He was selected for the academic honor roll and recorded 121 strikeouts during his senior year.

The WKU baseball team is 3-1 through its first four games in the 2024 college baseball season
