SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County is ranked fifth in the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association Preseason 15th Region Poll.
The poll, released in late-February, features teams from three different districts within the 15th Region.
Lawrence County, Shelby Valley, Pikeville and Johnson Central are ranked ahead of the Lady Hornets. Preseason favorite Johnson Central captured the 2019 15th Region softball title. Magoffin County and Johnson Central are longtime 57th District rivals.
