(Frankfort, Ky) Chris Meadows, superintendent of Magoffin County Schools, has been selected to serve on the Kentucky Association of School Administrators Board of Directors as the representative for the Mountain Region.
In this role, Meadows will represent education leaders across the region and help guide KASA’s statewide priorities. Regional directors connect members with the association, elevate local perspectives and contribute to KASA’s work in leadership development, member support and advocacy for Kentucky’s public schools.
“Chris understands both the promise and the distinct challenges of leading schools in eastern Kentucky,” said KASA Chief Executive Officer Rhonda Caldwell, Ed.D. “He is a grounded, student-focused leader who will bring an important regional perspective to the board and advocate thoughtfully for his colleagues.”
Meadows has served as superintendent of Magoffin County Schools since December 2021, following a period as interim superintendent. He previously served as principal of Magoffin County High School and in district-level administration.
Throughout his leadership, Meadows has worked to strengthen educational opportunities for students while building connections among schools, families and the broader community. His experience as both a school principal and superintendent gives him a broad view of the support administrators need to improve teaching, learning and student well-being.
