PIKEVILLE – A federal indictment was handed down last Thursday for drug trafficking.
On October 24, a federal grand jury indicted Robert E. Pilgrim, charging him with allegedly knowingly and intentionally possessing with the intent to distribute 500 grams or more of a mixture or substance containing a detectable amount of methamphetamine, a Schedule II controlled substance, on or about August 15, 2023.
The penalty, if found guilty, is not less than 10 years nor more than life imprisonment, not more than $10 million fine, and at least 5 years supervised release, plus a mandatory special assessment of $100.
