Martha Gullett Stanley, age 81, a resident of Clyde, Ohio; formally of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 13, 2023 in Bellevue, Ohio at the home of her daughter.
Martha was born in Salyersville, Kentucky on October 29, 1941 to the late Lura (Borders) and Estill Gullett. Also preceded in death are four brothers, Carl Gullett, Harry Gullett, Hershell Gullett and Richmond Gullett.
Her early life was spent in Salyersville where she graduated from Salyersville High School in 1961. After moving to the Clyde area she was employed by McDonalds.
Those left to mourn includes her three daughters, Tamara (Eric) Shaver of Clyde; Kimberley (Joseph) Heabler of Bellevue and Shawnda (Ronald) Shue of Clyde. Also surviving are five grandchildren, Krista (Caleb) Balogh; Brock (Natasha) Shue; Brent Shue; Joseph Heabler; and Jordan Heabler, four great grandchildren, one brother, Marcus Gullett of Vickery, her companion, Joe Conley, of Lewisburg, Ohio, and a host of family and friends who love and miss her.
Funeral services for Martha Stanley were conducted Wednesday, August 16, 2023 from the Mitchell-Auxter Funeral Home on 218 South Main Street in Clyde, Ohio. Interment and grave side services will be in the Tackett Cemetery on Route 40 in Salyersville, Kentucky at a later date. Contributions can be made to the Clyde Baptist Church on Brown Street in Clyde, Ohio in her honor.
