LOUISVILLE — Herald Whitaker Middle School eighth grader Luke Montgomery won the Kentucky NASP 3-D State Championship at the Kentucky Exposition Center on Saturday, March 30.
Montgomery recorded a score of 295 to claim the state title.
In addition, Montgomery was the Top Overall Male, giving him two titles.
Also, Montgomery was the recipient of a $1,000 scholarship.
Montgomery placed fifth out of 1,763 archers in the Middle School Boys’ Bullseye Division.
