Owen Lee Barnett 81 of Lakeville Road, Salyersville, Ky., passed away on Friday evening November 3, 2023 at his home. He was born October 23, 1942 in Breathitt County, Kentucky to the late Arlie and Gracie Campbell Barnett.
Survivors include his wife, Vivian Fugate Barnett, one son, Tommy Lee (Amanda) Barnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, three brothers, Robert Herald (Betty) Barnett, Beecher (Doris) Barnett both of Salyersville, Kentucky, Phillip (Deatrah) Barnett of Florida, four sisters, Dolly Kohls, Mary Thompson both of Cincinnati, Ohio, Eula Jean (Leonard) Myer of Vancouver, Washington, and Brenda (Randy) Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky.
In addition to his parents, Owen Lee is preceded in death by one daughter, Venetta Jo Barnett, one brother, Donny Barnett, and one sister, Lillian Kezee.
Funeral services were conducted Tuesday, November 07, 2023 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Doug Dunn officiating. Burial followed in the Barnett Family Cemetery at Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
