Patricia Ann Mayes Cole, 56 of Short Fork Road, Salyersville, Ky., passed from this life on Saturday evening December 17th at the Highlands ARH in Prestonsburg, Ky. She was born June 21, 1966 in Columbus, Ohio to the late Gearld Mayse and the late Carol Jane and Rudd Spears.
Survived by her husband, Benny J. Cole, three daughters, Kim (Billy) Lykins of Paintsville, Kentucky, Jessica (Kenny) Smith of West Virginia, Christina Cole, Eric Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, six sisters, Nella (Terry) Morgan, Brenda (Bobby) Cole, Debbie (Lennie) Cole all of Salyersville, Kentucky, Sharon (Forest) Welch of Paintsville, Kentucky, Carol (Jerry) Gibson, Kathy Johnson both of Ohio, one brother, David Cole of Salyersville, Kentucky, ten grandchildren, Haley (Jacob) Butcher, Michael Salyer, Haydden Lykins, Mason Smith, Macy Smith, McKinley Smith, Maddox Smith, Bella Lykins, McKinnah Smith, Derrick Howard, one great granddaughter due in February, Anelise James, one grandpup, Bodhi Butcher, with a host of nieces, nephews, family, and friends.
In addition to her parents, Patty is preceded in death by one sister, Diana Mayse.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Lykins officiating. Burial followed in the Cole Family Cemetery at Short Fork, Salyersville, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
