Ruie F. Cantrell age 75 of Lacey Creek Rd, Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, September 05, 2023 at her home. She was born May 14, 1948 at Browns Fork, in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Ranzie and Nora Faye Phipps Ramey.
Survived by her husband, Ira Cantrell, two sons, Mike Cantrell, Carter Stanley Cantrell both of Salyersville, Kentucky, one brother Willie Ramey of Salyersville, Kentucky, one sister, Daisy Ramey Creech of London, Kentucky, five grandchildren, David Matthew Gamble, Vanessa Faye Cantrell Cox, Robin Michelle Cantrell Bailey, Gabrielle Renee Cantrell McCarty, Cody Cantrell, five great grandchildren, Chole Michelle Bailey, Arielle Madelyn Bailey, Rylynn Fayth Cox, Tru Lewis, and Kyngston Lewis.
In addition to her parents, Ruie is preceded in death by one son, Chalmer Ray Cantrell, two daughters, Anita Faye Cantrell, Brenda Gayle Cantrell, three sisters, Martha Ramey Howard, Dolly Ramey Wright, and Sarah Ethel Ramey Jenkins.
Ruie Faye was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved spending time with her family. She enjoy working in the garden and loved her marigold flowers.
Funeral services were conducted at Saturday, September 09, 2023 from the Head of Coon Creek United Baptist Church with Hershel Wright and Dennis Marshall officiating. Burial followed in the Phipps-Cantrell Cemetery at Phipps Fork, Kentucky.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
