SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County head coach Tony Skaggs was selected to coach in the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association’s annual East/West All-Star Series.
Players from throughout the state compete in the East/West All-Star Series annually.
The East/West All-Stars Series opened at South Warren High School in Bowling Green on Tuesday, June 22.
The high school softball all-star event continued at South Warren High School in Bowling Green on Wednesday, June 23.

Many of the state’s top high school softball coaches and players were in Bowling Green for the annual event earlier in the week.
Skaggs guided Magoffin County to a winning record in the 2021 high school softball season. Following a loss to rival Paintsville in the 57th District Softball Tournament Semifinals, Magoffin County exited the 2021 season 14-13.
Several experienced players are poised to return for Magoffin County in the 2022 high school softball season.
