Steven James “Beefy” Bennett age 62 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Friday, June 12, 2026 at the Salyersville Health Care Center, Salyersville, Kentucky. He was born October 31, 1963 in Akron, Ohio to Miriam Watts Bennett and the late Larry Edward Bennett.
Survived by one brother, Larry Edward Jr, and his wife, Brenda Bennett of Salyersville, Kentucky, three aunts, Carolyn Isaac, Vivian Hoskins, Wanda Younce, his best friends, Jodie Lovely Miller, Freddy Howard, and Marty Howard.
In addition to his father, Beefy is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Robert and Lydia Bennett, maternal grandparents, Ollie and Zeda Watts, one aunt, Patricia King, two uncles, Ollie Watts, and Robert Watts.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, June 15, 2026 from the Allen Cemetery at White Oak, Kentucky with burial following.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
