Troy Scarberry, age 63, a resident of Delta Lane in Morehead, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2026, at UK Saint Claire Health Care in Morehead, Kentucky.
Born June 17, 1963, in Pikeville, Kentucky the son of the late Drewey and Edna Reynolds Scarberry brothers Jim Doug Simpkins and Riley Simpkins proceed him in death.
Troy was a fire fighter who took pride in helping his community.
Those left to mourn includes wife, Sally Fay Stevens Scarberry of Morehead, Kentucky, daughters, Tiffany Bevins and husband Dustin of Grayson, Kentucky, Denisha Kelly and John of Kentucky, Whitney Risner and husband Howard Kevin of Salyersville, Kentucky, son, Troy Scarberry Jr and wife Ceirra of Morehead, Kentucky, sisters Brenda Lawson of Flat Gap, Kentucky, Linda Lou Scarberry of Kentucky, a host of family and friends who love and miss him.
A memorial service celebrating the life of Troy Scarberry will be held at a later date and announced by the Salyersville Funeral Home.
