PRICEY – Two juveniles were airlifted from a four-wheeler crash on Pricey in Magoffin County over the weekend.
On Saturday, both of the juveniles were on the same four-wheeler, which left the roadway for an unknown reason after coming through a curve, exiting the right side of the roadway and striking a tree head on, ejecting both from the ATV. Both were airlifted.
One was released from the hospital later that same day with less severe injuries, but the other spent a few days at the hospital for a severe laceration to his ear and other internal injuries and fractures, though he has since returned home to continue healing at home, with following-up appointments scheduled to see if he will need surgery.
Both are students and teammates at Magoffin County Schools and are expected to make full recoveries.
