Virgie Charles Lemaster

On Wednesday, November 23, 2022, Virgie Charles Lemaster rejoined her heavenly family and gained her wings at Paul B. Hall ARH Regional Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky.

Virgie Charles Lemaster was born October 09, 1934 in Hurley, Virginia. She was the daughter of the late Green Charles and Lina Justice Charles.

In November 1958 she was married to Frank Lemaster Jr., who preceded her in death along with one daughter, Rebecca Louise Lemaster.

Virgie is survived by two children: Sherry Lemaster Blanton of Paintsville, Kentucky, and John (Melinda) Lemaster of Lexington, Kentucky. She is also survived by three grandchildren: Brandy (Arthur) Lain of Salyersville, Kentucky; Cristal (Charles Elrod) Billiter of Paintsville, Kentucky; and Jacob Scott Lemaster of Lexington, Kentucky; as well as two great grandchildren: Caleb Zachary Sexton of Salyersville, Kentucky and Cooper Andrew Billiter of Paintsville, Kentucky.

Virgie was a homemaker, active community member, and a proud woman of God. Virgie’s greatest love was her family whom she loved spending time. She worked tirelessly to provide for them and would always boast about her children and grandchildren when given an opportunity. Virgie was known for her feisty personality and sense of humor. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

Magoffin County Funeral Home in Salyersville, Kentucky was in charge of all services.

Virgie was laid to rest with a graveside service at Howard Cemetery in Salyersville on Saturday, November 26, 2022 with Johnny Reed officiating.
