SALYERSVILLE — Volleyball tryouts will be held in the Magoffin County High School Gym Thursday, July 23 and Friday, July 24.
The tryouts will be conducted from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. each day.
Any girl interested in participating in the tryouts must have a current physical.
A volleyball open gym session was held in the Magoffin County High School Gym on Wednesday, July 22.
The 2026 high school volleyball season is scheduled to open in mid-August.
Magoffin County showed improvement in the 2025 high school volleyball season. Finishing near the .500 mark in 2025, Magoffin County compiled an 8-10 overall record. Magoffin County won seven of its last 11 matches in the 2025 high school volleyball season.
Several experienced players are poised to return for Magoffin County in the 2026 high school volleyball campaign.
Magoffin County competes in both the 57th District and the 15th Region.
