Wiley Loper age 67 of Gunlock, Kentucky passed away Friday, January 06, 2023 at the Pikeville Medical Center, in Pikeville, Kentucky. He was born December 05, 1955 in Magoffin County, Kentucky to the late Coleman and Virgie Rife Loper.
Survived by one son, Michael Paul Loper of Michigan, one daughter, Anna Michelle Loper-Kern of Gunlock, Kentucky, mother of his children, Jeanie Kay Shepherd, step-children, Timothy Rowe of Gunlock, Kentucky, Penny Rowe of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, Barb Rowe of Gunlock, Kentucky, one brother, Alfred Dean Loper of Prestonsburg, Kentucky, five sisters, Dorisie Loper Wireman of Gunlock, Kentucky, Lolie Loper Watkins of Salyersville, Kentucky, Sarah Loper Hale of Gunlock, Kentucky, Katie Loper (Rick) Adams of Gunlock, Kentucky, Dottie Loper (Daniel) Bragg of Milton, West Virginia, several grandchildren and great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Wiley is preceded in death by one son, Johnny Edward Loper, one step-son, Bill Rowe, two brothers, Willie Lee Loper, John Wayne Loper, and one sister, Barbara Jean Loper.
Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the Little Rachel Church with Richard Rife officiating. Burial followed in the Wile Wireman Cemetery at Gunlock, Kentucky.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
