William “Bill” Kennedy age 58 of Jackson, Kentucky passed away Saturday, October 22, 2022 at his home. He was born October 26, 1963 in Dowagiac, Michigan to the late Roger and Jeanette Yost Kennedy.
Survived by his wife, Emma Turner Carty Kennedy, three sons, Richard (Sasha) Kennedy of Vista, California, Kyle Kennedy of Swartz Creek, Michigan, Anthony (Jane) Carty of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter, Lisa (Ronnie) Gilbert of Salyersville, Kentucky, two brothers, Kenny Kennedy of Shelby, North Carolina, Marvin Kennedy of Elkhart, Indiana, one sister, Rosie Sezhrist, of Alabama, eight grandchildren, Victoria Kennedy, Ava Kennedy, Anjoya Kennedy, Serene Kennedy, Xylas Kennedy, Kaitlyn Carty, Kaiden Carty, and Jameson Carty.
In addition to his parents, Bill is preceded in death by one sister, Barbie Kennedy.
Bill proudly served the United States Army.
Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 P.M. Saturday, October 29, 2022 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with James Cole officiating. Friends may visit the funeral home Friday, October 28, 2022 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral services.
Military rites given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of the funeral service.
