William Henry “Red” Gamble

William Henry “Red” Gamble age 75 of Gamble Branch Rd., Salyersville, Ky., passed away on Saturday, March 9, 2024 at his home. He was born August 18, 1948 in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late John and Cassie Adams Gamble.

Survived by his wife, Patty Howard Gamble, three sons, William Michael Gamble of Salyersville, Kentucky, Stacy (Malissa) Gamble of Oil Springs, Kentucky, Jonathan Ray (Ashley) Gamble of Salyersville, Kentucky, two daughters, Patricia Jean (Heather) Rodriguez of Winchester, Kentucky, Surrina (Matthew) Minix of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Wilma Blanton, Betty Blanton, Joyce Lemaster all of Salyersville, Kentucky, nine grandchildren, Jessica Morgan Salyers, Dustin Allen Minix, Alisha Hope Blackburn, Coleton Gamble, William Scott Gamble, Hadley Rose Gamble, Gregory Dean Joseph, Amber Crouch, Tyronne Gipson, four great-grandchildren, Liam Hensley Salyers, Lincoln Case Minix, Easton Allen Blackburn, and Chandler Dean Joseph.

In addition to his parents, William Henry is preceded in death by one brother, Edward Gamble, three sisters, Murity Howard, Thelma Hall, and Peggy Gamble.

Funeral services were conducted Wednesday, March 13, 2024, from the Head of Coon Creek United Baptist Church with Greg Hall, Gary Bolen, and Jeffery Helton officiating. Burial followed in the Head of Buffalo Cemetery in Salyersville, Kentucky.

Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
