SALYERSVILLE – Magoffin County standouts Jaden Williams and Emilee Bailey have earned All-State honors from the Kentucky Softball Coaches Association (KSCA).
Williams was named to the KSCA Class 2A All-State Second Team.
Bailey was recognized as a KSCA Class 2A All-State Honorable Mention selection.
Both Williams and Bailey batted over .500 for Magoffin County during the 2021 high school softball season.
In addition to thriving at the plate, Williams ranked as Magoffin County’s top pitcher.
The Class 2A All-State honors follow.
Class 2A All-State First Team: Hailey Cannon (Boyle County), Abby Hammond (Lexington Catholic), Emma Winkle (Estill County), Ella Emmert (Lexington Catholic), Madison McIntosh (Rockcastle County), Kayleigh White (Boyle County), Kayley Bruener (Pendleton County), Emma Markham (Warren East), Tessa Juett (Madison Southern), Lucy Patterson (Warren East).
Class 2A All-State Second Team: Adison Hicks (Calloway County), Kyndall Honaker (Boyle County), Lauren Spears (Ashland), Macie Howes (Christian Academy-Louisville), Jaden Williams (Magoffin County), Sidney Argo (Fleming County), Anna Greenwell (Highlands), Summer Ray (Boyle County), Haven Ford (Rowan County), Shelby Lewis (Anderson County).
Class 2A All-State Honorable Mention: Jacie Goad (Boyd County), Emmah Young (Warren East), Grace Adams (Henry County), Emilee Bailey (Magoffin County), Danielle Crum (Lawrence County), Kate Fister (Bourbon County), Micah Hayes (Bourbon County), Aubrey Manning (East Carter), Isabella Persinger (Harrison County), Brenna Sherman (Madisonville-North Hopkins).
