Windell Arnett age 87 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at the Abbyshire Nursing Center in Bidwell, Ohio. He was born April 23, 1936 in Gullett, Kentucky to the late Clyde and Merle Henry Arnett.
Survivors include his wife, Lillian Lavern Dingus Arnett, three sons, Ellery W. (Connie) Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, Timothy Pernell Arnett of West Liberty, Kentucky, Ralph Anthony (Dawn) Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, two daughters, Lillian Michelle (James) Christopher of Salyersville, Kentucky, Rachael M. (Larry) Fraley of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, one sister, Linda Nell Arnett of Salyersville, Kentucky, twenty grandchildren, and eighteen great grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Windell is preceded in death by one son, Dwayne Arnett, one brother, Aaron Arnett, two sisters, Janet Sue Howard, Mary Francis Arnett, two grandchildren, Matthew Moore, and Michael Moore.
Funeral services were conducted Saturday, January 13, 2024 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Jonathan Sargent and Robert May officiating. Burial followed in the Gullett Cemetery at Gifford, Kentucky.
Military rites were given by the Salyersville D.A.V. Chapter 15 the day of the funeral service.
Arrangements were under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
