Woodrow Howard, Jr. age 79 of Salyersville, Kentucky passed away Sunday, June 6, 2021, at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. He was born September 02, 1941, in Salyersville, Kentucky to the late Woodrow Howard and Panzie Howard who survives.
Survived by his wife, Sue Ellen Howard, two daughters, Vickie Howard of Salyersville, Kentucky, Jacqueline and husband Daniel Orme of Mt, Sterling, Kentucky, four brothers, Nathan Howard of Green Up, Kentucky, Larry Howard, Linvel Howard, Gregory Howard, all of Salyersville, Kentucky, three sisters, Monteza Lykins of West Liberty, Kentucky, Margarita Arnett of Stanton, Kentucky, Linda Flynt of Salyersville, Kentucky, three great grandchildren, Victoria Rachell Wilson, Heather Ratliff, Catlyn Stanley, three great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.
Woodrow, Jr. was a dedicated member of the First Community Baptist Church and a member of the Salyersville Masonic Lodge #769.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12:00 P.M. Friday, June 11, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home with Lindsey Meade officiating. Burial will follow in the Mose Howard Cemetery at Coon Creek, Kentucky. Friends may visit the funeral home Thursday, June 10, 2021 from 6:00 P.M. till 9:00 P.M. and any time prior to funeral service.
