SITKA — Magoffin County driver Scott Lemaster drove to a feature win in the Sport Modified class at 201 Speedway on Saturday, June 6.
Behind the wheel of the Crider Brothers Racing 10K Sport Modified, Lemaster claimed the feature win on 201 Speedway’s opening night. Lemaster, who is among the area’s most successful dirt track drivers, beat a crowded field of racers to the finish line in the Sport Modified feature.
Prior to the feature race, Lemaster, who hails from Salyersville, set the fast time in Sport Modified qualifying. Lemaster’s fast time for the division was 15.591 seconds.
The additional feature winners on 201 Speedway’s opening night were Brandon Fouts (Super Late Model and American Crate All-Star Series Late Model), Dakota Rayburn (Open Wheel Modified), Weston Osborne (Crown Vic) and Nathan Honeycutt (4-Cylinder).
