Addie Howard Hale, age 91 of Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, July 10, 2021. at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, Kentucky. She was born at Twin Lick in Salyersville, Kentucky October 12, 1929, to the late Lonzie and Pearlie Tackett Howard.
Survived by one son Phillip Ray and his wife, Joann Hale of Salyersville, Kentucky, one daughter Joann and her husband Ronnie Begley of Mount Sterling, Kentucky, one sister Maggie McDowell of Lexington, Kentucky, one brother Carl Howard of Mine Fork, Salyersville, Kentucky, four grandchildren, Jamie Hale, Tina Dean, Darry Ray Begley, Brian Begley, twelve great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, with a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Addie is preceded in death by her husband, Corbett Hale, one son, Roger Dale Hale, five brothers, Monroe Howard, Dennie Howard, Hershel Howard, Rex Howard, Kenneth Howard, five sisters, Versie Hunley, Verlie Adams, Rosie Williams, Vetta Fay Caudill, and Tressie Mae Howard.
Graveside services were conducted Monday, July 12, 202,1 from the Hale Cemetery at Borders Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, with C.J. Tackett officiating.
Arrangements are under the direction of the Magoffin County Funeral Home.
