Barbara Allen Ritchie age 67 of Richmond, Kentucky formerly of Magoffin County, Kentucky passed away Saturday, January 16, 2021 at her home. She was born February 22, 1953 in Georgetown, Kentucky the daughter of the late John Henry and Lillie Hall.
Survivors include one daughter, Cherriee Michelle Deprez (Michael); two granddaughters, Lillie and Ellie Rose, all of Richmond, Kentucky; two sisters Elizabeth Abrams (Gary) of Lexington, Kentucky and Charlotte Ruth of Grayson, Kentucky; one brother Billy Florence of Georgetown, Kentucky and one brother-in-law, Bige Hundley of Owenton, Kentucky and a host of nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Lou Hundley; one brother, Tommy Florence, and former husband, Doug Allen. Barbara worked as a secretary for many years and was a member of the Baptist faith. Her granddaughters meant the world to her, and she enjoyed spending time with them.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 am Saturday, January 23, 2021 from the Magoffin County Funeral Home Chapel with Ben Martin officiating. Burial will follow in the Wooten Family Cemetery at Louisa, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends from 5 pm to 8 pm Friday, January 22, 2021 and any time prior to funeral services.
Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, masks and social distancing are required.
