Barbara Allen, age 68, a resident of Burning Fork Road in Salyersville, Kentucky, passed away Sunday, August 29, 2021, at her home.
Barbara was born September 18, 1952, in Salyersville, Kentucky the daughter of the late Goms and Jewel Howard Allen. Brothers, Ralph Douglas Allen, James Philip Allen, Jay Wendell Allen, and sister, Sandra Kay Allen also preceded in death.
Barbara was a graduate of Morehead State University with a BS in Education and Union College where she got her Rank One. She was a member of the Bethel Bible Baptist Church on Route 30 in Salyersville, Kentucky.
Those left to mourn includes special nephew, Tony Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, sister, Gloria Jean Allen of Salyersville, Kentucky, a special group of nephew and ni
eces, and her former students who she cared so much for.Funeral services for Barbara Allen will be conducted Thursday, September 2, 2021, at 1:00 PM from the Allen Home Place Cabin on Craft Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. Clergy Ward Allen will deliver comforting words on the day of service. Interment will follow in the Howard Allen Cemetery on Craft Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky. The family will welcome friends Thursday, September 2, after 10:00 AM till 1:00 PM at the Allen Home Place Cabin on Craft Creek in Salyersville, Kentucky.
