SALYERSVILLE — Magoffin County junior guard Aden Barnett is ranked second in the Kentucky Prep Report Preseason 15th Region Boys’ Basketball Top 10 Players Rankings.
Barnett led Magoffin County in scoring and rebounding during the 2021-22 boys’ high school basketball season.
Among the top boys’ high school basketball players in the state, Barnett averaged a team-high 22.3 points and 7.4 rebounds per game for the Hornets in the 2021-22 prep hoops campaign.
In 28 games for Magoffin County during the 2021-22 season, Barnett scored 624 points and pulled down 208 rebounds. Barnett has already scored over 2,000 points in his high school career.
